Dr. Earl Stewart, Jr.

PRESIDENT/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Physician. Gospel Pianist. Christian Author and Poet.
EARL STEWART, JR., is a physician and native son of the city of Augusta, Georgia, where he grew up and attended public schooling for both his primary and secondary educations. He is the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of the Dr. Earl Stewart, Jr., Family Foundation, Inc. He is a 2005 alumnus of A.R. Johnson Health Sciences and Engineering Magnet High School, where he studied on the Health Sciences curriculum while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average, graduating third in his class with honors. He is also a 2009 alumnus of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where he attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Cum Laude) with a pre-medical focus with minors in Chemistry and Latin. At Mercer, he was a Josiah Penfield Presidential Scholar and served as a member and officer of several organizations and honor societies and accrued many awards for leadership and academic excellence, including being named to the National Dean’s List, Mercer’s President’s and Dean’s Lists, Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, Phi Sigma Iota Foreign Language Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.

Dr. Stacy Arrington Stewart

VICE PRESIDENT/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Stacy Arrington Stewart is a native of Augusta, Georgia, and the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of our foundation. Her position entails overseeing programmatic execution for the foundation and presenting ideas for new ventures in which we can participate and to which we can contribute. Dr. Stewart is a 2010 Alumna of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She later earned a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2013 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Georgia Campus (PCOM-GA). She earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. She completed residency training in Family Medicine in 2021 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas, where she was the first African-American to do so. She is a practicing physician serving the medically uninsured and underinsured in Marietta, Georgia, and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Her clinical interests include Lifestyle Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and is a proud and devoted soror of the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She enjoys self care, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with and caring for her beloved family.

Josephine D. Williams

TREASURER/CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Josephine D. Williams is a native of Augusta, Georgia, and founding Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer of our foundation. Her responsibilities include being the overseer of our foundation’s financial happenings including maintaining our bank account, orchestrating private fundraising initiatives within our family to support our foundation’s scholarship grants, and maintaining documentation of and tracking our expenses. She is pleased to serve on the inaugural Board of Directors with her son and daughter. She is a proud 1975 graduate of Lucy Craft Laney Comprehensive High School and beloved Mother of Carlissa, Earl, and Jasmine. She was employed with Kellogg’s, Inc. (former Murray Biscuit Company) for over 40 years, retiring in July 2019, and has been a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia, for well over 45 years. In addition to being a stellar Southern cook, she enjoys traveling, shopping, good food, caring for her pet dogs, watching her favorite television shows, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
